High speed photodiode detector

1  Adopt imported Hamamatsu high-speed photodiode   

          

2 wavelength response range: 300nm to 1100nm

        

3 The material of the detector is silicon, and the photosensitive diameter of the probe is less than 0.5mm. The default is free space light entering the probe; If the user needs it, FC flange can be pasted in front of the probe so that the user can directly use optical fiber to access the detector. Please explain in advance when purchasing. The detector shipped by default does not have FC flange.

7 The internal output impedance of the detector is 1m ohm. If you need to obtain the appropriate response speed, you must parallel the appropriate resistance at the output terminal. To maximize the response frequency of the detector, the output terminal must be connected in parallel with a resistance of 50 ohm-100 Ohm (generally, 50 ohm terminals can be connected in parallel, oscilloscope with bandwidth greater than or equal to 300MHz also has 50 ohmic resistance options). The smaller the resistance of the parallel connection of the output terminal, the higher the peak power of the incident optical signal is required. Otherwise, the lower the output voltage will be. Users need to find a balance point between the bandwidth and the voltage. Generally speaking, if the detection pulse width is several hundred nanoseconds, picoseconds, or the output of the detector needs to be connected in parallel with 50 ohm-100 ohm resistance; If the detector is 500us to 500ns laser pulse, the detector output needs a resistance of 1k-10k Ohm in parallel; If hundreds of ms-500us of laser pulses are detected, the detector output needs a resistance of 10k-100k Ohm in parallel; If the detection is greater than 500ms or continuous laser, there is no need for parallel resistance at the output of the detector. However, if the output voltage is too high, or to eliminate the influence of natural light, 100K resistor or potentiometer can be properly connected in parallel, which can reduce external noise, secondly, the amplitude of the output voltage can be limited.

 

Note: the detector with amplification can be customized, which can be divided into two types: A RF amplification (1MHz-100MHz); B weak signal amplification with adjustable gain

        

8 power supply voltage 9 ~ 24VDC

       

9 can be used to detect ultra-fast pulse laser such as femtosecond or picosecond, nanosecond laser pulse and quasi-continuous laser of us or ms level, it can also be used to directly detect the intensity of continuous laser or non-laser light sources.
