The internal output impedance of the detector is 1M ohm. If the user wants to obtain the appropriate response speed, he must combine the appropriate resistance at the output. To maximize the response frequency of the detector, the output of the detector must be connected in parallel with a resistance of 50-100 ohms (usually 50 ohms in parallel, and the oscilloscope with a bandwidth greater than or equal to 300 MHz also has a 50 ohm impedance selection). The smaller the output resistance in parallel, the higher the peak power of the incident optical signal is required. Otherwise, the lower the output voltage is, and the user needs to find a balance between the bandwidth and voltage. Generally speaking, the detection pulse width is several hundred nanoseconds, picoseconds or femtosecond laser pulses, and the output terminal of the detector needs 50 ohms-100 ohm resistance in parallel; if the detector is 500 ns to 500 ns laser pulses, the output of the detector needs 1 K-10 K ohm resistance in parallel; if the detection of several hundred ms-500 US laser pulses, the output terminal of the detector needs 10 K-100 K ohm resistance in parallel; if the detection is greater than 500 ms or 500 ns. If the output voltage of the detector is too high, or in order to eliminate the influence of natural light, a 100k resistor or potentiometer can be properly connected in parallel. One can reduce external noise, and the other can limit the amplitude of the output voltage.
