The media could not be loaded. The oxlaser 5.5watt works better then expected this is the 40x40mm aluminum block for added cooling. I 3d printed a air assist bracket cutting 2.8 mm birch wood 3 passes at 450mm/m.

My 2.5w OXLaser decided to quit burning anything – it still fires, just not hot. I did get this 3.5w today and was able to complete a project that I was working on. I did have to change the wiring so the lined up appropriately. This does burn a little hotter than my 2.5w, so I was able to increase the speed of travel so the same project takes roughly 2/3 the time as it did with the 2.5w.OXLasers did it right. The unit is compact and self-contained with built in cooling and its own power switch.The description does say that it will not work with an Arduino board. I’m using an Arduino Nano running GRBL 1.1 and it is running perfectly.I would (and did) buy OXLasers again.
